TurboNote is a handy Little program for Win95/98 and WinNT that lets you "stick" notes to your screen and send them to others. Use them for reminders, for messages, for telephone notes, to-do lists, Web and email addresses or anything else that occurs to you.
You can change the colour and size of your notes at will, set them to
ring an alarm at a given time, and temporarily MOVE them off the screen by hiding them. They stay around even when you turn your computer off.
You can also open Web addresses, programs and files which appear in notes, simply by double-clicking on them.
When you install TurboNote, it sets itself up to run automatically when Windows starts up, so it will always be available when you need it. You can prevent this if you want.
Don't miss the tips section of this help file for some good ways to make the best use of TurboNote.
This fully functional copy of TurboNote has been sponsored by the Company whose name and logo appears in the About Box That means three things:
1. You can use TurboNote on as many computers as you wish, free of charge.
2. You are free to pass on the unmodified original installation EXE to anybody else, anywhere else, so they can use it as well. We encourage you to upload it to public FTP and Web sites as well!
3. Occasionally, the sponsor's Web address will appear at the bottom of a note. You can ignore it, or you can click on that Web address and TurboNote will try and use your regular Web browser to visit the sponsor's site. (That's how the sponsor benefits from paying for this special version of TurboNote). Just as importantly, visiting the Web site will make the sponsor's Web address appear less often on your notes in future, so you benefit as well.
